Lilith Readers Book Club

Yom Ha’atzmaut Gathering with HaShemesh at Mirowitz Center

Tuesday, May 14th 3:00p to 4:00pJoin us at Mirowitz Center on Israel’s 76th birthday to hear Israeli and Jewish music with the St. Louis-based band HaShemesh. In a special concert recognizing Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, the band will perform songs that reflect the country's history and culture.

Senior Engagement

Some of our past events include:

  • Jewish Seniors on the MOVE, where we take a bus to a delicious lunch venue and see some of the most exciting and historic St. Louis sites
  • Special presentations by guest speakers over lunch such as The St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Sports columnist Ben Hochman
  • Jewish keepsake craft making courses with professional tutorials
  • Virtual and hybrid events with special presenters, such as authors, comedians, and magicians
